Movie Review "Homefront"

"She who adores me" picked up some DVDs from the bargain bin, and one had two movies on it, Homefront being one of them. Made in 2013.

Had no idea whether or not it was any good, but it stared Jason Statham, so we gave it a go.

Pleasantly surprised, we really enjoyed it! Typical movie for him, he beats the crap out of a bunch of people, but a good plot and very enjoyable. Language was rough, but that's kind of a given in movies where there are bad guys.

I give it 4 stars, especially if you can get it cheap like we did.

Just wish it would have been in 3D, but that's a dying thing for now.

Yeah... that is, IMO, one of his better flicks...

I saw it years ago in the theatre... it is good on the big screen!

This particular movie has more going on than just bad guys and a bad@$$ good guy...
There was the thing between the grade school teacher and Statham...
The thing about his daughter learning to get along with folks she did not like...
The thing about the local sheriff that was kinda on the take and kinda not...
And the black guy who was helping Statham... lived... which does not always happen.

All in all... a well thought out and made movie.

Only thing... I like it when the ring-leader bad guy gets taken out (killed)...
They are usually beyond re-habilitation... so better if they are not around to cause any more trouble.
