Just gotta vent

OK, for the past two days I have been taking 12yr old to football camp. On Tuesday afternoon (4:40,) going south on Barrett Pkwy. these two motorcycles decided it was time to weave in and out of traffic. One of them was a white and blue crouch rocket. I knew that he was going to be a fool just because of the way he was revving his engine. The other guy was riding an older Harley type bike. I guess they both decided that they just had to get to the Shell station in a real hurry. I guess the station was going to grow legs and run away. I did call the police on these idiots. :BH

This AM 7:15, yet another fool on a crotch rocket, this one I heard behind me, then all of a sudden he cuts me off, and the car in the other lane. This was on Dallas hwy. going East. Unfortunately he was gone before I could call the police on this one. :rant

WTH is wrong with these idiots? When one of them gets killed folks want everyone to feel sorry for them, and immediately want to blame the driver of the car/truck. I'm having a real hard time feeling sorry for any rider who rides like these fools.
I call them statics. I hope I don't see one tomorrow. :tapfoot2

I rode some in my younger days, and had a few close calls. Drivers of automobiles often don't see motorcycles, that's the cold hard fact of the matter.

I may eventually get another bike, but I have a whole different attitude about riding than I did before I saw my life flash before my eyes a couple of times. I've seen the type you described, they are fools.

See that's just the thing, I enjoy riding, but DH is a very good driver (I haven't learned how to drive a motorcycle yet.) But, these young kids on these crotch rockets scare the heck outta me. When I hear the whine of the engine, I expect them to be fools.

Because there's little to no point in trying and they (GSP and the crotch-rocket riders) know it. Even without traffic but especially in it ... police cruiser vs. that kind of bike = no chance if the rider wants to run.

Today went by with no idiots riding crotch rockets. Went to Lassiter high this AM w/o one incident. Came home w/o any issues.
Three days in the sun watching your kid work on football skills takes it outta of an old lady like me.
