Not sure why, but we've had some personal attacks lately.
This board was originally started so we could get away from some of that. We wanted a place where we could have discussion without hateful personal attacks or name calling. I realize that not everyone wants this kind of board, some like the confrontation; but the majority here do not so it isn't welcome. This is not a place to do battle.
We also wanted a place with a lighter atmosphere where we could have fun without undo stress. Many of us simply don't need more stress in our lives.
We absolutely encourage civil discussion like the UPS thread was yesterday. I think it's healthy for us to exchange ideas and even disagree, so long as we do it with some reasonable civility.
We all have bad days and sometimes have a slip of the tongue....err fingers. When that happens, just step up and fix it and all will be forgiven. We're human.
Note: Friendly razzing or poking fun at each other is fine, most of us do that in fun and it adds to the levity here. Just be sure to use smileys to make your intent clear.
