It has begun ...

Look at the bright side,,, it gets a lot of people to start their Christmas shopping early, so that when I go out the stores are less crowded.
I just toss back half a jar of Apple Pie and wade right into it!!!!!

Haven't seen any... that would take having time to watch TV. If I had time I would be more likely to put on news.

Spoiler alert...it all works out at the end and the bad person loses.
I pointed out to Mrs. Mac, they even follow the same time schedule, nearly down to the minute.

5-8 minutes in, the strangers, or long lost "friends" meet.

Next 20-30 minutes, they build on those intimate encounters with longing looks.

Right about 35 minutes into the show, there is a drama moment. Usually with their current, or a recent ex, mate/lover/whateva

12 minutes before the end of the show, one of them realizes (or is told) how they are being stupid and should just go for it.

10 minutes before the end, they just miss each other reuniting.

8-5 minutes before the end of the show, they re-unite and ride off into the sunset.

I pointed out to Mrs. Mac how many of these partners end up jumping out of bed with their current s/o, and within a few hours/days are head over heels and promising to do fun things with someone new. Wow, what dedication ... lol

Apologies if you are a fan of the series. They can be sorta cute, but its like having too much of a sweet thing ...

Just my opinion...

Holidays are a time of family and friends and fun... as opposed to the grind of life.
Along the way... heightened emotions find their way into the mix.
However...
Being a single (some say career single... LOL); I can say that getting too emotional too quickly over a new relationship (or an old flame)... is almost a guaranteed road to struggles and self destructive choices.

Not that a relationship of value could not start during the holidays...
Just remember to take time to get to know the person... before allowing oneself to get too emotional.

Oldie but goodie:

Let's see how the movie last night fits:

Yep - Her car slid off the road in front of his house. His dog showed her the way. She is back from Afganistan, but had to leave her EOD dog "Christmas" there rather than bringing him home because of a shortage of dogs.

Next 20-30 minutes, they build on those intimate encounters with longing looks.

Yep, her car is going to take until Christmas to get fixed, she has to stay in his guest cottage. Wow, he's the town judge and *still* young and cute!

Right about 35 minutes into the show, there is a drama moment. Usually with their current, or a recent ex, mate/lover/whateva

Yep - Ex Fiancee is back in town!!! (She had run off with a court reporter)

12 minutes before the end of the show, one of them realizes (or is told) how they are being stupid and should just go for it.

Close , they both realize it, but don't do anything about it. (Much to his family's disgust)

10 minutes before the end, they just miss each other reuniting.

Yep, She overhears his side of a call he gets and thinks the Fiancee is back in the picture. so heads for the bus out of town. He finds out and sends the sheriff after her!!

8-5 minutes before the end of the show, they re-unite and ride off into the sunset.

Sheriff gets her off the bus and brings her to the Town Christmas Eve Party where he confesses his love and brings out Christmas! He has pulled strings to get him back.

Yea! The End.

This is where I admit I watched that episode with the Queen.

Today ... all day marathon. It has been on so long, that we got a message asking if we were still watching (the Apple TV has an auto off if there has been no activity).

I think we are on #5?

Mom put on ice skating... :sick:don't know which is worse. I am in the backroom where I don't have to watch, or hear the commentator.

I need to go out and run errands in a bit anyway.

You can come over and help me finish my move... grin!

Most of the stuff is at point B... lots of cleaning and misc minor repairs to do... grin

Just kidding...

Funny how there is one universal friendship killer...
Asking for help moving... grin!

We are almost finished!
Down to:
*This closet has clothes in it...
*That bathroom sink cabinet has bottles under it...
*The crawl has used paint cans in it...
You get the idea.

My Hispanic HVAC guys have been real troopers with the move...
Their wives came, packed my kitchen, moved it, unpacked it, and set it up!

The Lord God has provided for this move...
More than I expected!

I guess now is the perfect time to play the “I’d help but I have a broke toe” card.
