so yesterday I was driving.. i was driving fast too..like 15 over the limit ( sorry GC) They was no way I could get over and out of the way of someone that was going clearly faster. I tried... but sometimes you can not get over when this happens. They had thier church licness plate on the front, A cross hanging from the rearview mirror and then a fish and a religious sticker on the back of the car, However with you honking, shooting birds and cussing at people doesnt help you reflect your car at all. I finally got over and was praying this nut wasnt going to do something to me... he passes me while mouthing FU B

then traffic shortly slowed down and he was trying to bully another car by honking and flashing lights

dude... I have no clue what was going on in his life yesterday but that is not the way to handle road situations.

I do know I got down the road still faster than him cause a few minutes later I passed him on the side of the road pulled over by cops


why do people act like complete idiots while driving

I try to be a circuitous driver and get over when I see people coming up quickly on me... however I will not risk my life to get out of your way. I couldn't get over and they could clearly see that... crazy

it is folks actions like this that puts bad taste in folks mouth about Christians.. as I have said before we are out there to be the light and not put out someones light

also if you go the speed limit or 5 over the speed limit on 285.. you just might die.. everytime I get on there I PRAY cause I feel like I am driving with nascar folk... they will flat out run over you.

the incident I spoke of above didn't happen on 285 or 20..it happened on 27 in Carroll ( i told yall I drove all over tarnation...lol)
 
Wow!! I hate driving on the interstate in Atlanta but 27 in Carrollton?? Serious anger issues. :eek:

That is crazy and you don't have to look for very long to see people acting like that every day. I see it more often when I'm driving my personal car. People tend to reign it in a little when I'm in the marked caprice.

It's really something when you see a bumper sticker that reads, "Honk if you Love Jesus" and the driver flips you off for honking. I know you didn't do that, but it's about the same "testimony". ::)

I was taught (told) a long time ago not to be stopping people for puny things that I even do off duty. Not coming to a complete stop at a STOP sign or going 8 or 9 miles over the limit. I've always stuck by that rule. I have to say though....if I had seen that guy yesterday, I would have put him on the curb in a millisecond!

I hope they put paper on him :tapfoot2

Nice. You should'a asked, "What's that say on your back, dude?" :'(

My boss "claims" Christianity and uses profanity like punctuation. Not saying in this business I don't let one fly from time to time, but I can say that I'm not an artist. He's a professional :'(

Bossy tells me all the time that I have the authority to order peeps off the property and not to take any crap. I politely told him to leave and not come back til he could behave like a rational adult. He turned around to leave and that's when I saw the scripture. I just shook my head and giggled to myself. He's behaved very well and paid his rent on time since then. :D
 
I am a strong believer as don't just go to church.. Be the church

I have never flipped anyone off and I do not cuss.

While driving I stay calm cause someone has too

Wow, that's actually a double hyphenate so that type must be REAL BAD.
 
I had the same incident on 120 this morning!! A white BMW - he went flying by, cut me off, then brake checked me and sped off. He kept weaving between the cars in front of me. Then, as we crossed over Mars Hills Road, I honked the horn, smiled and waived as we drove by him getting ready to chat with a Cobb County officer.

Being a circuitous driver is prolly what got people all steamed at you. OH, WAIT - you meant courteous. :D :D :D (I know, damn you autocorrect! :D )

This is exactly why I don't have a fish or whatever on my car (besides which I just don't like crap on my car). I'm a good driver and a courteous driver, but there are times when I've been known to go a mile or two over the speed limit, etc., and I don't want to have that out there.

Uhhhhhh.....I am very sorry about that.
Like I told the policeman, I was late for a Deacons meeting at the church.
They were voting to make me the official "Good Will Ambassador Deacon" and I wanted to make sure I was there on time.
