Is this your password?

I'm sure a computer program somewhere could crack most of mine eventually, but I must say I'm a pretty good random password thinker-upper.

None are mine, my password is always....awww....you're tricky.

Many people are lazy about coming up with passwords and they tend to use something that is a big part of their life as part of their password. I used to know a lady that was crazy into college football and her fav team was the Vols. Imagine my surprise when I found out all her passwords were the same "GoVols" + the year she was born. Idiot.

Actually, it's pretty normal for people to use something they are familiar with and consistently use.

I don't. I figure it ups the odds of being hacked if it's too easy to figure out. I use something pretty random & change them from time to time. I'm great at coming up with passwords. :D

They can hack away at mine.
It's my wife's computor that has all the "good" stuff on it and apparently she changes the passwords all the time.
She must cause I can't get logged onto her's anymore.
Hmmm, could it be me she is worried about?

I asked her about this today and according to her, she has told me the new password three times, but I don't listen to her.
With an answer like that, it can only mean one thing, ya'll are right, she is hiding something

nope none of them are mine

I use 4 different ones for just about everything. They are not anything that could identify me or anything in my life. Just a few random words and numbers combined that are easy for me to remember..(well most of the time)

You've caught on to her my friend... Now, what kind of jewelry do you think it will take to get her to actually tell you the password? You should start saving up....

Which is why now many people have started using password management software. Excellent if you are pro-active and have difficult passwords for each site, and change them regularly. There's also a suggested protocol for having a password unique to you (letters, small and cap, plus numbers) and then add the name of the site at the end, so you wind up with a unique password but one you can remember. I don't do that, but I might sometime.

WHAT???
I didn't do nothing and my wife will attest to that!
Just last night she told me, you don't do anything around here.
Now that I read that...you don't think she meant...nah, that couldn't be what she meant.
