In other words, if they do it then it's okay we do it. That's the same as saying two wrongs make a right. Now it's clear how we got where we are today.

No, we got here by Rule number 4... you and 49% of Christians will not vote for one of the better of the two, who will have the position for the next 4 years, as the top job of the Unite States of America, POTUS

4. “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.”. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.

You can't even vote for the people on the ballot because they are not a perfect man, Jesus.

From the mouth of Dave Ramsey:

No Billy Graham or any man like Billy Graham has ever been in the White house... that is not their job.

49% of evangelical Christians say they will not vote... due to being disgusted with the quality and character of both candidates.

16% of gun owners will not vote because they are not on the grid and they don't want anyone to know where they are.

You are not voting for a savior ... if so neither one of these will be qualified...

You are not voting for a Pastor... if so neither one of these will be qualified...

What happens in the White house does affect your life. To not vote at all out of disgust is bad decision making paradigm.

Make a list of the 8 or 10 issues that are out there. Outside of the candidate themselves, which candidate falls on the side of those things you think they will impact what you like?

None of them will be 100% of what you want them to be on personal charter, personality style, or even where they stand on the issues. But you vote on the one who most aligns with all the issues you support.

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:8-11 (NIV)

God gave us free will, which allows us to make choices. One of the graces God gave us was the ability to govern ourselves here on Earth. Therefore we are to be good stewards with our vote. It's true we aren't electing a pope, but we are electing a president who is to lead this country. That also means the decisions a president makes effects us as well.
It is true we will not be in 100% agreement with any political candidate seeking political office. It is also true we will not be in 100% agreement with each other. That means you should accept the fact that not everyone is going to make the same choices you make when it comes to electing people to political office. If you expect everyone to respect your right to vote for whoever you choose, shouldn't you respect the right of others to choose who they vote for? You're a hypocrite if you don't.

I'm a conservative Christian man who loves God. God above all else is my priority as He should be for all Christians. Unfortunately, many Christians have put poltics ahead of God and that's why I believe this country is in the position it's in today - having to vote for the lesser of two evils. We're not being good stewards to the grace God gave us to govern ourselves when we have two ungodly candidates to choose from on the ballot.

Everyone here knows these two candidates lie a lot. However, the discussion here isn't so much about Harris as it is Trump. I say that because the consensus here is Harris cannot be trusted and therefore should't be POTUS. In the same token, Trump lies to the voters as well. He lies a lot. Can you really trust someone who lies that much? How do you know when he's telling the truth or not?

Should the character of a candidate count when deciding who to vote for? I think so and so do millions of other Christian voters in this country. Trump claimed to be a Christian, but his words and actions say otherwise. This is why millions of Christians will not be voting for him. They don't see Christian values in Harris either and won't vote for her.

Perhaps if Trump were humble, would stop lying, and eliminate bashing others who don't agree with him, he would have done better with them. He's his own worst enemy.

As it stands today. There will either be Trump or Harris as POTUS.

If you made a chart of POLICIES... which side of the chart most closely represents your values? Because we will be living under those policies for 4 more years.

I have a grand daughter. I am done with the pushing of the trans on our children and the grooming of our kids. Trump and DeSantis stand against that.

The current Whitehouse is placing every position of authority in every agency they can as a trans person. This will normalize one more taboo which has always been that you do not sexualize children.

Christians not voting, or writing in a name not on the ballot, gives power to the candidates who normalize what used to be taboo.

We're not voting for policies. We're voting for a person who can tell us one thing and then turn around and do something else. This is where a candidate's character comes into play. It's because of their character these Christians, myself included don't trust either candidate.

We will have the policies that Trump or Harris allow to follow them to the Whitehouse.

Her current policies have allowed what was taboo to be normal.

This is what we have now with Harris/Biden, there will be no change, she said that on The View:

The word you want to use is taboo, not tabu. Tabu is an actress in India.

Need I remind you that while Trump owned the Miss Universe Pageant, he allowed a Canadian transgender woman to compete in 2012? How many times has Trump changed his position on abortion? He's changed it since being president from being the "president to protect the unborn" to saying states passing heartbeat legislation didn't allow women enough time to have an abortion.

Again, when it comes to voting for a president, a person's character means a lot to a very large number of Christians. They don't see Harris or Trump has having moral characteristics. This is why they don't trust either. Trump made a lot of promises when he ran in 2016 that he made no attempt to keep. However let's look at what he's promising this time around.

He claims he's the only person who can save our country and save the world. Do you really believe he has that kind of power? A lot of us know he doesn't.

He claims he is the only person who can prevent World War III, but yet he wants to build an iron dome missle defense system to protect the entire country? Isn't that hypocritical? How much will this cost and where will the money come from to pay for it? Remember this is the guy who promised in 2016 he would eliminate the national debt but added $7.8 trillion to it in four years.

He said at a rally that if elected, he would make things so great that there would never be a need to have another election. Now why in the world would he say something like that?

He's boasted how he's never done anything wrong that needed forgiveness from God nor does he make any mistakes.

These are just a few of the things he's said that make people question is character and trustworthiness. It appears 41 million Christians don't trust either candidate and refuse to vote for either. I don't blame them.

Hopefully, four years from now, if we get the opportunity to vote for a president, we won't be forced to choose from the lesser of two evils. Hopefully there will be a candidate of moral candidate who has proven he or she can deliver on what they say they will do.

And those 41 million will effectively stand by and do nothing while our country goes to crap.

Ephesians 6:10-18

New International Version

The Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

Perhaps they have on their armor of God and put their faith in Him rather than a man. My faith is in God because I can always trust him. Man is a different story. Especially those who lack a moral character.

Why put on armor if you won't fight?

Hate is the weapon of Satan, Boss.

You can claim you don't hate Trump, but most of us here know better. Even your post above is seething with it. Every time you go into a trade about Trump, it's seething with hate.

Whomever you're following is leading you astray.

You should have quoted Ephesians a little more. Here's verses 13-17.

“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
Ephisians 6:12, " For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." This verse says our war is a spiritual conflict with Satan.

The first element of our armor is truth. Satan is "the father of lies." The truth we use to fight him is in God's Word.

The breast plate of righteousness is the righteousness of Christ, imputed by God and received by faith. Faith guards our hearts from Satans charges and attacks. Righteousness also protects our innermost being from Satan's attacks.

The preparation of feet means there will be obstacles in our way as we spread the Gospel of Peace to others to win souls for God. Satan will set traps in an attempt to prevent us from doing that, so therefore we must be prepared.

When we bear the shield of faith, Satan can cast all the aspersions, doubt, dismay he wants but they will be ineffective because our faith in Jesuse is our shield.

The helmet of salvation is to protect us from Satan's false doctrine and temptations. We received this salvation when we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

The sword of the Spirit is the Word of God. There is no greater spiritual weapon than the Word of God.

Putting on the armor of God has nothing to do with the a secular "war" but a spiritual one against Satan. As far as those Christians sitting out the election not "doing anything," think again. They are doing something. They're putting on the armor of God and praying for the salvation of others and this nation.

Please explain how my post is seething with hate because it's not. Give one example. By the way, I'm following God. How can He lead me astray? I read my Bible. In fact, I'm leading a Bible study on Matthew on Wednesday nights at my church.

Wouldn't do any good; the hate within you keeps you from seeing it.

That's what deception does.

Funny, I always think of my best friend's mom (from grade school) who had Tabu Perfume... it sat on the bathroom sink counter top. I thought it was spelled tabu no taboo!

Learned something new today!!!

Venezuelan migrant gang ‘Tren de Aragua’ has now taken over at least four apartment complexes in San Antonio, Texas. This comes as corporate media dismisses their presence in Aurora, Colorado as a “handful” of incidents. Our open border is on the ballot too.
