When I thought of the name "Code of Misconduct", I searched every place on the web I could think of. Especially book titles. I ran across a book written a good while back titled CodeS of Misconduct, but no Code of Misconduct.

I was more than willing to think of a different name if I had found an exact match. I used to do the same search of song titles when I wrote the half dozen or so songs for The Pioneers.

So I go to check my ranking today and see some 92 page novella at the top of the Amazon page titled Code of Misconduct. Supposedly this female author has 27 published books. Of course I could have written 7 by now if they were limited to 92 pages.

I'm just sayin', "Hey lady...can you not try to be just a little original"? :Stick

I know, right? :waggingfinger

Two reasons. I wouldn't want anyone to call me a copy cat and second, I wouldn't do it out of respect of the other author.

Other than that, I'd hate for someone to click on it by accident thinking they were getting mine :Stick Some folks may not notice the difference, I guess unless they recognized I would not have allowed a cheesy looking cowboy on the cover. :rant

I have noticed a good number of book titles in use for more than one book. Weird, but there it is.

I was reading the dictionary and it listed every book title ever written.

My 4th in the series will be titled, "Gone With the Wind". It's gonna be about Guard Dad's excessive flatulence, but the title alone should sell a few books at least ;D
