Went to the homecoming game Saturday. UGA handled the Mizzou bunch pretty handily but I did have a couple of concerns. The defense has been less than stellar the last two weeks after dominating Tenn three weeks ago. Mizzou QB Lock is a NFL prospect and has a very good arm and Mizzou has some really good receivers so I was not shocked at them scoring 28. I was not as concerned with the secondary getting burned a couple of times as was about the lack of pressure from the front four and little adjustment (blitz packages, etc) by the DC. UGA is facing the toughest part of the schedule with Florida, SC, Auburn and GT who all play UGA tough regardless of season records. I am thinking we can cover them all and we do have a very good football team so I am not a fatalist just a realist. Maybe it is a mistake but I am looking at December in ATL and comparing us to the bunch from Tuscaloosa. Both teams are second half teams but I do not want to go down a couple of scores in the first half to those guys. Go Dawgs.

I predict GA will take Bama down in the SEC Champ Game. Rarely does the team ranked #1 pre-season go undefeated and I just don't see another team who can take Bama down barring some weird plays or injuries. I think head to head GA is the most talented team so far this season.
