We are sorta like the Brady Bunch when it comes to our animals.
I had some, she had some and some just came to visit and never left (like cousin Oliver).
My side:
Ashley - a 14 year old female cat, sweet as she can be, she has the softest fur I have ever felt; Ashley was gotten for my son so he could have a pet (she always lived at my house)
William - a 6 year old male cat, a busybody who has to, repeat has to, see and know everything that is going on; despite being a cat, he somehow manages to knock over more stuff just by walking by it; if something is going on William is there, if an animal has gotten where they shouldn't be, it's him; William was rescued by me when he was 6 weeks old, he was supposed to go to my mother, but she turned him down
Her side:
Mitzi - a 12 year old female cat who looks like someone put her in the dryer (think Garfield), she is our 60's cat, she acts as if she did way too many drugs and she is in her own little world, nothing seems to faze her; Mitzi was part of the divorce
Pete - an 8 year male cat who since the animal merger has gotten fat and lazy; he is like me, fat, lazy, grumpy, stubborn, likes things his way and has a bald spot; Pete came for a visit back in 2007 when the stepson moved and is still here
Doodles - a 4 year old medium poodle (yes, it is Doodles the poodle); he is our crack dog, you know how occasionally someone on crack seems ok, but the rest of the time they are nuts; he has chewed up over $1,000 in my wife's shoes (she cannot seem to keep them off the floor); Doodles was a replacement for my wife's 16 year old poodle that died
Penny - an 8 year old 60lb English Bulldog, she loves people, other animals, sleeping, snoring (the Fred Flintstone kind of snoring), slobbering & licking, eating and farting (the gas is toxic, we have cockroaches running around with little gas mask and signs saying "unfair living conditions"); Penny came to visit when the stepson was stationed overseas and is still here, the stepson has been back stateside for almost 9 months
That is how we became the Brady Bunch.
