so, my gf's Grandma lives in Hatch, NM. She brought me a present. Two 40# bags of chiles! I gave one to my police friend, and shared the other with my old man.

Man those are great after you roast and peel them.

Hey! I had that for the first time a few weeks ago. When the guy suggested it, I said "Really"?

I still don't know if I liked it or not....it was like eating popcorn and bananas :sick

It just seemed like two things you wouldn't expect to be together, but then again, my dad used to make me butter and sugar sandwiches :dunno

I find roasting and peeling peppers is a lot of work. Any secrets on how to do it quick and easy?? Roasted peppers are the bomb!! :eatdrink

What NG said! Because, thanks to her, I have a lot of pepper that are about ready to be picked, and I'm outta ideas. LOL

I love shrimp and grits!! Legal Seafood in Atlanta has a shrimp with cheese grits dish that is awesome and it comes with collard greens on the side.

YUM!!!!

no, it pretty much takes forever. I did them in the oven at 400 for half an hour or so, let sit for 10 min, and the skins came right off.
