Guess we\'re all eating at home tomorrow

God help us, the french fryers are wanting more money.
Does no one realize that those jobs are for young single people who are working for the first time?

While I have known adults working at fast food places, they were either management, retired or someone who was doing what they had to , while they tried to get a better position.

They're pushing for $15/hr for a part time job (avg about 20 hrs/wk). Duhhh, how about getting another part time job so you work a full 40 hours. Or start your own business so you are guaranteed 60-80 hours.

Or study for your GED in the other hours of the week (or take classes) and work to improve your life your own damn self and quit sitting back saying gimme, gimme, gimme, It pays what it does for a reason. No, you are not worth $15/h. And don't whine to me about only getting a $.15 raise after working at the same place for three years. If that's all you've received, there' a reason. And if you've been at a fast food place for 3 years and haven't moved to some type of management position say thank you for that $.15 raise since it was probably a gift and not really earned.

Geez, tell us how you really feel, and I thought I was being harsh honest.

fox 5 asked a young woman why should the get the pay increase. The young woman replies" it's only fair, I need more money!"

The people that are protesting for a raise will be the same ones fussing about the price increases

I saw the pictures of the folks walking the picket line. I want each one polled to see if they really work for McDonald's.

Yep, it's not unusual for unions to hire folks to picket for them.

They cannot comprehend being truly poor or working hard for their wages. Standing up for 8 hours and dealing with idiots does not constitute hard work. And having only basic cable and a two year old cell phone is not poverty. Entitled fools.

So do unions want McDonald's employees to make $15/hr, or do the McDonald's employees think they are worth $15/hr? :dunno Quite frankly, I think if they were completely honest, they would admit they weren't worth $15/hr.
