Great Fake Play at Second

What was the third base coach doing? (Not in video.) I should think he'd be saying run or not. Either way, WAY too easy to throw out a runner headed for home. Dumb mistake.
 
i've also heard of great fakes by say, a first baseman who was thrown the ball to tag out a baserunner who had a big lead towards second. First baseman fakes the throw to the pitcher, pitcher fakes catch and does his routine, then when baserunner steps off the base towards second, first baseman tags him out. Never seen it done, but it would be cool.
