Glad to be aboard here. I'll just quote from my bio here if you don't mind: Born in Rhea County, TN back in 43. Served in the Army in Korea in and then Nam. Run a small HVAC licensed company out of Dacula, GA. Always been on the right side of politics all my life so to speak. Love classic country and the 50's rock & roll. Isn't Dayton in Rhea County? My cousin, Kenny Walker, was Chief of Police there for years :D

Sure is. Dayton is the county seat. Born in a doctor's office above a drug store next to the court house square. Nice town. Thank you very much

Hello...

I lived in Paulding Co for over a decade, and raised two boys who have since moved also.

I love this site because it keeps me up to date on world and national events and interesting topics, even though I cannot add to any local interest information, as I did when I first joined. I will not go on the other site...even though when it first started it was such a nice way to know about what was going on in Paulding County. I like some of the personalities over there, too many I could no longer watch their stupidity in print and had to extract myself from visiting ever again.

I was in Baldwin county Alabama, near Pensacola area, and have recently moved back home to the West Coast (Thus my name Far West, where my heart remained despite the politics of my conservative city changing liberal.) Big change for me, but so glad to be home with my family... and my conservative vote will cancel out at least one liberal wacko one. :thumbsup:

I got together with a group of college friends (San Diego State University graduate...Go Aztecs... yeah I know... no one cares. Sad thing is in San Diego we don't really care either, too many other fun things to do than worry about a football game. :grin2:), and was pleased to see that they were all still conservative and blasted Governor Brown and all the crap California voters have fallen for over the past two decades since I left this place. The advice was to stay in North County (more conservative.)

I found the Highway, by a personal Invite from JawJa, "Ga", John, & he also said to "Look up "Special K".

I'm a small Mechanical Contractor, in Brown County, Ohio, with Deep Family Roots in S. Carolina, & Kentucky, where I long to be.

Politically, I'm an American, .... Religiously, I uphold the Scriptures, but not Man's Religions.

I also have been having a "Heck of a time" getting my profile set up cuz' it keeps saying that I can only post 140 Characters, of which I cut it down 8 times.:(
