Georgia Gov. Kemp Signs GOP Election Bill Amid Outcry

This is the mantra from the left on voting:
Democratic Senate Minority Leader Gloria Butler said the bill was filled with "voter suppression tactics."
I watched a news report earlier tonight about how the Russians interfered with our recent election by spreading misinformation. I laughed at the hypocrisy of the MSM and Democrats because they spread so much misinformation. These voter reform laws passed in our state and several red states are being called "voter suppression tactics." What a load of BS. How will these reforms prevent any registered voter who wants to vote from voting? They won't. I'd like to see the Democrats give specifics on how these voting reforms prevent anybody from voting. They won't though because they can't. They will just continue to say they suppress minorities from voting.

I think replacing the SOS with the head of an elections board is going to be a cluster, and I think the legislature knows it. I'm also against reducing the timeframe for runoffs as I see no benefit here. Georgia had the most generous early voting period in the nation and we should be proud of that. Keeping it would also diminish the argument against some of the mail in restrictions.

I like the mail in restrictions, and the no water thing just makes sense. It's a thing of value. Private citizens, the county boards, and civic groups are still free to take that over. I can't believe this is about the biggest kerfuffle. Besides if the lines are too.long, that's on the county, not the state.

I suspect that the GOP has decided, as many of us have, that Raffy is corrupt and was likely a plant by the left to steal the election. This is probably a stop-gap measure to take him out of the loop until he can be voted out. He's likely a lame duck.
