Gasoline prices in the United States have soared to a six-month high, reaching an average of $3.60 per gallon, marking a more than 50% increase since President Joe Biden took office, Breitbart reported.

Over the past month alone, pump prices have surged by more than 20 cents a gallon, leaving consumers feeling the pinch. The current average price is over $1 higher than when former President Donald Trump left office, at $2.38 per gallon.

This, along with the price of groceries and common household items, should be one of the main platform Issues on which Republicans should run this cycle. It also helps to at least partially explain the Dems big push towards EV mandates. Ok, maybe that’s a stretch but it’s at least plausible.

I think they WANTED gas prices higher as part of their EV push. Higher gas prices also "helps" the environment as people won't drive as much.
Just imagine if people were buying EVs right now instead of those with combustible engines. The infrastructure to recharge them is nowhere near capable of handling it. Think of all the houses that would burn down while EVs are recharging in their garages.
