This photo shows some chicken and a salad that I made while my parents visited. I later made the salad for church. It involves peaches, onions, cucumbers, feta cheese, vinegar, and some other stuff. It's also really good. It was interesting to see the number of people at church who liked it, and a few who thought it was too strange and refused to even try it. This winter, I may serve the chicken: a honey garlic chicken. I expect similar results.



This is the meal I ate tonight. The only thing not from my garden is the sausage.



I love being able to produce my own food!

You do realize it's a 672 square foot house...and it's in one of the more isolated cities in North Dakota?

But, if you don't mind that, I'd love to cook for someone who actually likes it. My church appreciates it: today they got a Zucchini Cheddar Puff Casserole. But, otherwise, it's just me eating it. Even my parents are generally quite critical of what I cook except for one or two recipes. (My mother actually asked for my Crab with Glass Noodle recipe.) I even have a guest bed. Once your eyes are shut, it actually makes a nice bedroom. I even use it sometimes because it's so nice for sleeping. It just doesn't look nice.

I can stay in your room and you can have the couch.
In fact, if you could just stay somewhere else and come over to cook and clean, that would work eve better.
