My mom and dad used to always say they loved Cyndi and I the same. I never, ever understood that...I mean there has to be one of us they love a little more than the other, right? When M and I married, and I became a stepmom, I "got" it, finally. I love each of the boys the same, but the qualities that make me love them is different for each.

Yes. Why ask? (I don't care if you ask, but why? Is it good, is it bad, what made you ask?)

why not? :dunno

I was asking because I did not know if you read an article, came across some statistics or if it was just random. All are fine, I was just asking why, because if you did ask for a specific reason I was going to ask you to post the item that made you ask. :dunno
Many times I start a question with, "so I saw this, or I read this, or I was just wondering...."

My boys are the opposite of each other in almost every way. It is funny how knowing the strengths and weaknesses each has, makes me love them more. But for totally different qualities.

It is interesting to see how they go out of their way to take care of me now. :hug

Youngest (who is the least caring) bought himself a new I-pod... he gave me his old little one, but first he filled it up with music he thought I would like. :love I would have been happy listening to what he had on it, since we listen to mostly the same songs. He likes a little more Screamo Alternative Rock than I do... but he thoughtfully took off the hard stuff and added some other artists I like, from CD's I had burned. The two radio stations we listened to, 99X and The Project, changed - so this will be nice in the car.

The oldest will call as he comes home from school or work to see if there is anything I need. It's a little self- preservation... if they drank all the milk - and I haven't bought more yet. However, he also knows I don't like going to the store that often. When I go it's to pick up everything ... I don't just pop into a store and grab one item, so I put it off.

They are at that stage where they just think they are so smart ... I am wrong, or incapable. :dunno I play it up some and just tell them since they are so good; they are now in charge of it. :taunt

I also see nature’s way of making sure they move out of the nest. My oldest one is still living with us while he finishes college. Between work and school he is not around much… but there are times he can have such an arrogant attitude it is all I can do not to snuff him out :Ninja… as the saying goes, There’s a reason lions eat their young! :laugh

So, yeah... it depends on the day which one I love more! :suntn

Many times I start a question with, "so I saw this, or I read this, or I was just wondering...."

just didn't feel a need to preface this simple question
