Ex-MLB star in statistical tie with Schiff in California Senate race, says voters are 'mad' at Democrats

The irony is Schitt for Brains wants to have conservatives vote for Steve Garvey so Schitt will run against Garvey in November, instead of Democrat Katie Porter.

Yesterday Garvey had a 2 percent lead at 27% to Schitt for Brains 25%

Schitt for Brains ads say "Steve Garvey is too conservative for California." Then point out why he is conservative.

California has an open primary. The top 2 go on to the final election in November regardless of party. It can be 2 dems, 2 republicans, or one of each. (In the 80's it was usually 2 republicans.)

If Garvey is one of the top 2, he advances. Shift wants to run against Garvey, not the other Democrat, Katie Porter. The theory is Schitt for Brains will pick up all the Dem votes, Garvey will still only have 27% of republican votes, helping Adam Schiftt for Brains walk away with the Senate Seat.

Why two Democratic Senate hopefuls are boosting Republican rivals in Calif.

Rep. Adam Schiff and his allies are spending $11 million in the all-party primary to try to elevate a GOP candidate and box out Rep. Katie Porter from the general election

I would love to see Shiff for brains to go down.
Yeah, Schitt for Brains is such a corrupt SOB.

I think Katie Porter might be better than Schitt for Brains.

I would love it if Garvey won, however, he is still a liberal conservative, but that is what California breeds. I don't think Garvey can win in November because they will tie him to Trump and repel even normal citizens, who know there needs to be an end to the crazy left policies.

Garvey has no money. Garvey has spent under 2 million to Schitt for Brains $39 million over the course of the race, and far less than the $23.1 million in spending by Porter.

Sadly, other counties in California gave enough votes that horrible Schitt for Brains came in 1st.

Proud of San Diego 37.8% of San Diego voted for Garvey.

Only about 55% of votes are in, so I guess it can change.
