I was just bitten by a spider in the shower. Twice. What the heck. I jut thought I'd share because I'm pretty sure I'm about to die. My arm is going to shrivel up and fall off.
 
No, when it bit me, I turned my arm quickly and saw it was black, then the water hit it and it went directly down the drain.

You can hardly see the bite now, though. But I'm a drama queen and I freak out over things like this. LOL I was googling Black widow bites, and I don't think it was that. Lol I'm feeling better now.

I would be a drama queen on that one too!!! Glad you are feeling better.
 
Lol. Actually my arm does still hurt, you just can't see anything. MrB only rolls his eyes at me. Haha!

That's why I was certain I was gonna die or have my arm amputated. Lol after I googled it, though I decided it must not have been. It hurt like the dickens for a long time, though. Creepy creep spiders.... I think he was hanging out on my razor.
 
If it was a black widow, you need to go to the ER NOW! They can cause some serious issues if left untreated. Not to be messed around with.
 
I'm fine! Lol After I googled the symptoms of a BW bite, I realized that wasn't it. I've been watching for signs though, just in case.
 
You would know immediately if it was a Black Widow. Probably just a common type of house spider. One of your butt cheeks may fall off but I can assure you that you will not die.

I was bitten one time by a black widow!! It was in my bed under my pillow apparently and I was sleeping on my stomach and put my arms up under my pillow and it bit me underneath my left arm. I didn't know it till the next day when I woke up my arm was hurting and when I tried to lift my arm it hurt like crazy and was very very hot to the touch underneath and very red and swollen. I could see the little bite in the middle of all the swelling. I waited a few hours put ice on it then I started feeling sick. I went to the ER and the doc said it looked like a BW bite...gave me meds and sent me home. When I got home I was so freaked out about it being in my bed I ripped all the sheets off my bed took my bed apart to clean underneath it and around it..lol Well I found the dead black widow. I guess I killed it when she bit me.
