There's definitely a double standard at play here. BLM was openly supported and sometimes even encouraged by Democrats. The riots (non-BLM) that went on sometimes were too. Some of the squad was active in calling for the pro-Hamas demonstrations on capital hill.
Yet all we hear about is Jan 6th. While I certainly don't condone what happened, there is a whole lot wrong with how the left has portrayed it. We know for fact that the Capital Police knew about it ahead of time and even assisted some of the demonstrators in entering the buildings. They've even been referred to as tour guides. We also know that Antifa played a big role in it, as did BLM. There were people from both groups there video'ing the demonstration and getting interviews.
There's also conflicting information about why the National Guard wasn't there at first and why it took so long for them to be deployed.
I think there's a real possibility that Jan 6th was a set-up. The Dems have successfully used it as a circus show to further their agenda.
