Sounds more like bad teaching. The princess knows that when we are riding, she wears a seat belt and we don't move until she is "as snug as a bug." We taught her this as a baby and we do it everytime we get in a car, a plane or anything with seatbelts. Her goal is to get into the vehicle and snug as quickly as poissible and to say "STOP" if we move before she is (as she puts it) "snugged up." We flew to Chicago a couple of weeks ago and not only did she put the seatbelt on without question, she kept it on during the entire flight without question (and that happens every time we get on a plane).

Bad parenting, and I don't think the airline overreacted. If something did happen and the child was not in a seatbelt, the airline would be liable.

It's always scary to see a parent who can't control a three-year-old. If they can't control a little one like that, what will they do when the three-year-old is big?

Please stop trying to undermine our years of work. It is the new American way to find anyone to blame other than the actual blame-worthy party. We have finally convinced the majority of the sheeple that this is the right way and we do not appreciate your statements to the contrary.

Besides, we all know that it is Bush's fault.

It is a safety issue... Kudos to the airline staff and SHAME ON YOU look to the parent!

I am soooo ready for America to get out of the "not my kid" coddling stage
