He claims Congress isn't giving NY enough money. Pelosi says NY is getting more than Cuomo asked for. NY will receive $50 billion in state and local funding. The legislation says $350 billion will go to state, local and territorial governments to keep their frontline workers employed, distribute the vaccine, increase testing, reopen schools and maintain vital services. If you do the math, NY is getting 14% of that; a sizeable chunk considering there are 50 states and 5 territories. There is also $20 billion as a separate line item going to tribal governments.

Once this thing passes, watch it be the blue states that get the most money from this stimulus. The 5 states that benefit the most will be blue states that had the longest shutdowns of the pandemic. These are the states that financially cut their own throats and we are going to be stuck with the tab to bail them out.

The big question is, How much of that money will find it's way into democratic leaderships checkbooks?
