any of you have or know of a cheap (prefer under $3,000 but do have a little wiggle room), reliable used vehicle? Nothing fancy. Prefer 4-door and fair to good (or better) gas mileage. My kids will be in it so I'd like something clean.

Basically, I'm looking for a short-term vehicle for me while we figure out what I'm doing for my real replacement vehicle in 3-4ish months ... then may keep it as a run-around/commuter for hubby.
 
we found one on craigslist for our dd for that price... looks and runs great
 
Good luck. The used car market SUCKS right now, thanks to that idiot Cash for Clunkers program which mandated that they DESTROY every car that was traded in via the program. GAH!!!
