Since I'm now retired, every day seems like a Saturday. My wife and I took a long ride up past the Nantahala National Forest and went into Bryson City, North Carolina.
We spent all day piddling around the various boutiques, fudge shops, antique stores and so forth. We walked all over the downtown section and it was an absolutely gorgeous day. A little breezy early, but the wind settled down and it was very nice.

Here it is March and there were folks paddling down the Nantahala River...the one word I can think of to describe that is shrinkage....
That river is ice cold on the hottest day in August. there's no way I'd even consider rafting down that river in March.

Anyways, tomorrow I'm supposed to get the back yard in shape. We're supposed to get some rain and storms on Sunday night & Monday.
