Have a starting pitcher who can't find the plate from the very beginning. Then have to wait and let him pitch while you get a reliever warmed up that you didn't expect to need for at least 5 more innings. Then have that reliever rushed to the mound so fast that *hes* unable to hit the plate.

How many of those runs were walked in? Three?
 
No doubt pitching was horrible today but the big reason they lost the series is the fact that Freeman, Donaldson, McCann, and Markakis forgot how to hit. It should have never got to the 5th game.
 
I missed the entire game first inning. At least they’ll have a few extra days to prepare for next season.

In all seriousness they had a good year, better than I expected earlier in the year. That was a butt spanking but an anomaly. The stars were aligned against them tonight.
