This is not a bash Mormons thread, because I have seen this attitude in many other churches as well. I hope they are good and dang well embarrassed and ashamed.

Make that man a tranny and send him to some of the churches around here - I'm sure the bishop would really have a lot to preach about. :Ninja

I don't think they would ask people to leave during the service, would they?
Ooops, forgot that now churches have security forces, maybe they would.

This is not directed at any church, my first thought is that they wouldn't ask them to leave, then I remembered that some churches, maybe all, have security people now.

The article I saw had him receiving several different responses. Some asked him to leave, some ignored him and some embraced him. Isn't that indicative of normal life?

Good point, and you're right. However, one would hope that in a church setting NOBODY would have asked him to leave.

You would HOPE. However, I hold the belief that they are all still human and subject to the human condition. I don't know how big the church was, but it stated 5 asked him to leave. It's still 5 too many, but he did say he had some work to do. The experiences that many speak of still shows us daily that the church in general has a lot of work to do.
