Big Brother Will Be Watching As We Drive

Yesterday, while driving back from Michigan I was listening to a radio program talking about this. They played a soundbite of a reporter asking Obama's press secretary if Obama supported a tax on the miles people drove. The guy was evasive as heck at first, but the reporter would not let up. The press secretary finally said the administration did not support a "mileage tax." I guess the administration plans to call it something other than a "mileage tax." It will be interesting to see how this develops because both houses in Congress would have to support any type of a new tax to be imposed on us. This is one more reason to vote this guy out of office in 2012.

Pft. My reasoning page is full. I am not sure that we can take the rest of his elected days in office. I know we can not take another term and recognize our country as the U.S we knew.

they already know where I go... Onstar gets me there 50% of the time anyway.

If they wanna follow me...go ahead. Because they will get bored

What about when they read the "black box" and send you a speeding ticket because of the data stored?

didn't think about that
... but how could they prove that I was driving the car instead of someone else :neenerbutt

How can the traffic cameras prove you're driving your car? The owner still gets the ticket mailed to them.

Some insiders are leaking that the eventual purpose for this is for a tax Obama has proposed on miles driven.

I have a big, big problem with this.

I do too... because I am always chosen to drive when i go out with others... lol

But yeah... that LAW SUCKS !!!!!

I think this is rediculous! How on earth can they get away with something like this?! It is a total invasion of privacy.

Because the constitution means nothing to the current administration.

Whatever it takes, he's gotta go!

I wonder how easy it will be to remove these boxes?
I was wondering that too. It wouldn't be hard for them to make it where the car wouldn't run if it was taken out. But there again, the aftermarket will likely find a cure for that too.
