Barr Affirms that there was no collusion between Trump and Russians

Here is a comment that the left wishes were true:
BREAKING NEWS: Hillary Clinton has contacted our news desk by telephone from the Clinton compound. She forcefully claims that the Mueller report that has just been released is fake, and is intended to flush out guilty Republicans. She insists that the real report will be released at the same time president Donald Trump is arrested, on live CNN television, with all of his children. She states that she will be declared president and will take an emergency oath of office at exactly that same time. This story will be updated as soon as we have official confirmation.

I'm disturbed by the number of "news reports" Mueller chased. It appears that they set the course of the investigation, ostensibly fueled by false "leaks" within the deep state.

There was no "mother crime". That is there was no Russian Collusion, the primary crime from which all process crimes should spring. This would make prosecution of those process crimes, like obstruction, difficult at best.

There was no successful obstruction, nor was there an active attempt to obstruct. This is key. Obstruction is an act, not a state of mind. Comey's firing was as close as it came, and Comey himself showed he deserved it in his Congressional testimony. His firing was within the powers of the President, and given that testimony and the memos and emails given to Tom Fitton, it would be impossible to prove he was not fired for cause.

Here's where the Democrats are really getting it wrong. Wanting to obstruct, and talking about obstruction, are not real crimes. Maybe conspiracy to commit, but seriously people, remember that there was no "mother crime". Such a prosecution would likely fail because as the report clearly stated, Trump was motivated by the fact that he thought he was being persecuted, not any attempt to cover up a crime that the report again clearly states didn't occur.

The report uncovered the fact that Trump is incompetent and ignorant when it comes to legal matters. It also once again exposed his crude and belligerent manner.

In short, the big reveal is that Trump is a bad person who is probably personally unfit for the Presidency. Some might argue that these are the qualities that got him elected in the first place. This is where we are as a country now.

Trump wasn’t elected to be attorney general or the communications director. The fact is that the findings of the investigation vindicate Trump’s assertion that there was no collusion.

One day people will come to the realization that he is not the monster people wish him to be, his election was legitimate, and our country is much better off than had his opponent won.

Now let’s get on with governing and solving problems. I would add to also reduce spending but we all know that isn’t going to happen (no matter who holds the purse strings).

IMO we need to focus on the two underlined statements... and specifically the word in bold type!

Trump is good for America... being offended because Trump is not a soft nice guy... IMO is just childish.
Throughout history... strong leaders are not softies...
Softies do not lead... they play politics.
We needed a leader... and now we are griping about the leader leading???
GA says: grow up... grin!
