Attack in New Zealand

Very sad indeed!

Interestingly, the article says almost nothing about who did it.

I found this article that tells more about the man who appears to be the main guy, though there is mention of four people being involved. Interesting that they refer to him as a "white nationalist". It sounds like the guy is a nut case that has been stirring up crap for some time. Wonder why authorities have not already gotten him?

And, of course, New Zealand is now talking about more gun control, as it that will solve the problem. The main guy charged that I linked to above was from Australia, and probably would have found a way to get a gun no matter what.

Yeah, these were Muslims that were killed, but they are people too, so I'm going to go ahead and publicly condemn this senseless massacre.
 
I suspect there will be retaliation from muslims soon, perhaps in Europe or maybe here in America... Things will surely escalate and somehow it will be Trump's fault.
 
Scary that some comments I read were justifying this wacko killing people in a Mosque. Claiming Muslims would see the pain equal to that of people slaughtered in Christian churches in Muslim countries.

That is exactly why in Muslim countries the people are savages over their religion - they have a tribalism to kill any person with a religious belief that does not fit with their "holy" book. I don't want to live in a world where we become animals fighting to the death like this. That's what cave dwellers do... not civilized people.

Civilization is at it's best when we have enough police force to help citizens respect each other's rights and property as well as a culture that has a high regard for, and teaches respect for people's rights and property. It seems like civilization is crumbling into tribalism world wide.
