Army Reduction in Force

Boss 302

Pursuit Driver
All the branches missed their recruiting goals for 2023. The Army missed theirs by 25%, which equaled 15,000 soldiers. The Army's response was to slash its strength by 24,000. Most of those cuts will be the positions they didn't fill in 2023. No soldiers will be discharged in the reduction because the reduction is actually reducing recruiting goals for 2024 by 24,000. This way, they will have a better shot at meeting the 2024 recruiting goals. In other words, if you can't meet the standards, then reduce them so you can.

There also will be about 10,000 posts cut from cavalry squadrons, Stryker brigade combat teams, infantry brigade combat teams, and security force assistance brigades, which are used to train foreign forces.

The above is nothing more than a spin to make it look like eliminating 10k combat arms positions will affect the combat readiness of the Army because those were training positions. The truth of the matter is those units' priority mission was to fight to defend this country, not train foreign soldiers.

They claim these cuts will make us leaner and more combat-ready. BS. Even our adversaries are saying that's BS. The truth of the matter is that the military will most likely miss their recruiting goals this fiscal year, too. Most of Generation Z couldn't care less about serving this country because they are selfish whiners.
