I thought I was, but according to the Nolan Chart survey results, I land in the far right side of the Libertarian category.

The survey is here if you want to see where you place on the chart.

This test is slanted to Libertarian. It's been around awhile and most conservatives who take it get a Libertarian rating.

Having said...I really do have a Libertarian streak.

Agree...
Many of those tests... are slanted in one direction or another.

My views tend to be more 'Constitutional conservative, with a minor slant towards libertarian'...

Yet depending on the so called test...
I have been rated all things...
Even a progressive...

When I took it some years ago it showed me as squarely libertarian. I do have a Libertarian streak in me, but part with them in some areas too. I consider myself a constitutional conservative, for the most part.

Mine came out like this. Some of the choices were still government doing things I don't think should be done by our government, so I picked the closest I could.

I thought I was more Libertarian, however I do find myself currently supporting Trump's new tarrifs to try to get those countries to drop their tariffs and trade barriers on our product so that we can eliminate ours on them.

The USA needs to walk away from this wealth distribution stuff we endured during 0bama... and have for decades with NATO. I have read that the USA pulling back our support and checkbook has made other countries step up to pay their own way.

I really think we are so stupid to pay other countries with money we don't have ...that we borrow from China... who does that? Most of the money for "Humanitarian Aid" never gets to the citizens... it goes to the dictators at the top. NGO's do a much more effective job at reaching those in need. It is not a luxury we can afford.
