Anyone know what I need to do?

so daughter was registered to vote here in Paulding. When she went to college they registered her to vote up there. She went and voted two weeks ago and they sent her a letter telling her that her vote didn't count because they still showed her registered to vote in Paulding.

She will not be able to be home before the election so do I have her complete an absentee form or what? She really wants to vote and is mad that her vote didn't count. Not sure what to do from here..anyone know?

The only options I know of is to either get an absentee ballot or see is she can come home this week or weekend to early vote. Two of our kids were in the same situation but they came home last Thursday and did early voting on Friday. It will probably be inconvenient (and costly) to come home but it would give her the satisfaction of knowing she participated in the election.

Good luck.

Got it all squared away. Talked to the supervisor at the election office and she helped me get an absentee ballot sent to my daughter. So daughter is now happy that her vote will count ;D
