There are at least 2 cats that have taken up residence in our yard. Not a chance in h*** a cat is taking this sucker down. This is no bantam ... it's a BIG ole roo. Hubby plans to enter him into the roo-location program tonight. (Gotta wait for him to roost to make him easier to catch.)
 
I won't let the puppies "play" with him either ... don't want any part of the vet bill that might come out of that. They'd win in the end but it could be an expensive victory.

I am so not an animal person unless it is on a grill and going in my belly later
 
He is still in the vicinity. He didn't roost as close to the house last night as he had been ... one of the puppies spooked him.
