Alert: 3 armed robberies in the South Paulding area

3rd Armed Robbery in 2 Weeks

(Paulding County, GA) The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help in a string of armed robberies that have occurred over the past two weeks in. All three incidents have occurred between 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. at restaurants in the South Paulding area.

The first incident occurred Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at the Subway located at 6525 Hiram Douglasville Highway Powder Springs, GA 30127. The second incident occurred Monday, November 28, 2011 at the Dominos Pizza located at 6525 Hiram Douglasville Hwy Powder Springs, GA 30127. The third incident occurred last night, November 30, 2011, at the Waffle House located at 4865 Ridge Rd Douglasville, GA 30134.

Witnesses reported a black male suspect wearing a mask and gloves in the first two armed robberies, and two black males wearing masks and gloves in the third armed robbery. Witnesses reported that a handgun was presented at all three locations. There were no injuries reported.

Witnesses described the suspect in the first two incidents to be approximately 5’10” to 6’ tall and medium build. In the third incident, the two suspects were described as one being tall and the other short; both with medium build.

This really scares me. We usually visit WH when it's late after a game or other event. I can't imagine what those employees and customers must have gone through!
 
That WH is so close to my parents. A Kroger employee mentioned to my husband the other night that they have a lot of "problem" people coming in late at night.
