Airport issue is defenatly a hot button topic.

The whole circus freak show that this thing has become is embarrassing for this county. Neither side is playing nice, neither side is providing unbiased facts, and neither side really seems to give a rat's patootey about anything but getting their way.

Well, OK, that man seems very passionate. So where is a good place to get caught up on all this Airport issues pros/cons. There is no much on the news lately other than AJC archives.

So the Chamber report says commercial passenger planes will provide 55 FTE jobs. The report goes on to explain FTE means Full Time Equivalent aka part time jobs. They used 1800 hours as "full time". A 40 hour week is actually 2080 hours, not 1800 which is exactly 7 weeks less than a full 40 hour work week. I'm sure they will have a great time at the Bagby Hotel or the Days Inn in Dallas. Now, the next challenge will be how will they get there? I guess they can call United Taxi Service since no other taxi service is allowed to operate in Paulding County.

This whole "circus freak show" is not being taken seriously enough, I'm glad some think it's a joke, I don't. I guess everyone is is peachy about an 80 million dollar asset providing 55 "FTE" jobs. 17 million of those dollars are ours, the taxpayers of Paulding County. I don't even want to see how much has been spent in legal fees because some of our elected officials won't drop the Part 139 application, that's all they have to do and it will all go away.

Get that 60 acre contract with Propeller up and running, that's where the good jobs will be. TSA, ticket agents, and baggage handlers make about $10.00 an hour.

Check your tax bill for those bond payments you're making. 7 million of it is directly related to the airport for the water tank and the sewers. You don't have to believe me, but I sure hope you believe your wallet.

ObamcCare recognizes any employee who works 30 hours a week to be a full-time employee.
