Administrative Assistant

This position is responsible for providing administrative support for department operations. The duties will include answering the telephone and greeting visitors; providing information and assistance; referring to appropriate personnel; processing and producing requisitions for purchase orders, authorizations for payment, out of town trip reports, and expense advance release forms; making travel arrangements for department staff; reviewing and processing department timesheets; processing incoming and outgoing mail; updating the department web pages; and processing open records requests.
