A lot of people say they take the bible literally... but do they really ? ? ? :dunno :dunno :dunno

Just finished reading a very interesting book about ones man's humorous attempt to live strictly according to the bible for one year :

http://www.amazon.com/The-Year-Living-Biblically-Literally/dp/0743291484/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1402851134&sr=8-1&keywords=aj+jacobs+the+year+of+living+biblically

Great book ! ! ! You may disagree with some of his conclusions, but I thought it was a really honest look at the bible from the view of a non religious person.
There was some great insightful passages about the nature of the bible and some very touching moments of inspiration. Stoning the adulterers was hilarious...

:thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

Also he presents tons of wide research and gentle arguments on the old testament
v. new testament split... lessons from both a living and literal biblical perspective.
