14 year old charged with murder

Oh, wow. That is freaky - and hits way too close to home.

Our oldest practiced baseball from time to time at that park. Our youngest would "explore" while we were there. I didn't like to let him out of my sight, but there were times he'd sneak into the woods, and I'd have to yell to get him to "keep eyes on Mom."

I also can't understand it because my young one will be fourteen in four months. I just can't wrap my head around this. :faint

I wish I were surprised by this, but that area has been going downhill for at least a decade.

I grew up playing ball at this park. Went to middle school at Tapp and my wedding reception was at the Ron Anderson building right at the entrance. Wow.

Yep me to Madea. I grew up playing ball there and then coached softball there for years. It's been about a year since I was there watching my son play baseball in the lower field. That area has gone down hill for sure. They busted a meth house off Forrest Hill road last week and arrested 12 I think it said and charged 7

That's the area we lived in before we moved here. We saw that the area was going down hill fast, and got out. Very sad our daughter played softball there as well, and went to Tapp, and McEachern.

My cousin and her children live in that area. I wish she would move. Her oldest son was one of the victims. He has lost several friends this past year (2 in a car accident a few months ago). ray
