Besides...

I need to go out and check on the greenhouse...
Changed the heat arrangement in there... want to be sure it is working properly...
I have a couple of literally BEAUTIFUL christmas cactus plants... they are in full bloom!
Hate to loose them... :(

I walked out for a moment. Forgot the alarm was set and it went off. Monitoring company called me to see if I needed the police, and I said screw the eclipse.

Yeah... alarms do that... :)

I remembered to shut mine off (temporarily) when I went out about an hour ago...

Think I will go out around midnite again... maybe get a few pics...
Then call it a night (or morning???)

We are only gonna get one more Blood moon this century... in 2037... wonder if I will be here for that one... or watching it from above... grin!

Went outside about 12:20 AM... the moon is almost overhead... and it is something like 80-85% red... a sliver of white on the more or less north side..

Sadly, I have a utility post light not far from me... so there was 'artificial' light to pollute the sky... it was not bright enough to take a picture of.

Tried with the cell phone... just not bright enough.

Memories... :)

ZZZ time... :)

I went out just before 12:00. It was amazing how dark it had gotten from an hour before.

Tried to take several pictures with the SLR, but didn't get the tripod out, so none of them are really worth posting.

I let the dog out and watched it for a few minutes then decided to wake up the Queen. She wasn’t happy at first but finally admitted she was glad I did. Pretty cool to watch.
