Stacey Abrams has called a 5 PM press conference via WSB-TV Twitter. Hope she concedes...

 
She conceded without saying that she conceded. She acknowledged that Kemp has the votes to win and wished him luck. But she said the fight for justice for all voters is not over.

Basically because the DEMS do NOT have her back, and she knows it.
Translation: If she gets herself in a difficult place (including legally)... the DEMS are gonna stand by with their arms folded and watch her self destruct.

She is not as dumb as she seems... :)
 
Well, I'm glad she finally admitted what many of us already knew, that she lost. But I'm troubled by her statement that she will continue to fight to make sure every vote is counted...blah blah.

That means she will continue to stir the pot and cause division. But her, that was the main mission anyway.
 
My understanding is...

She is seriously in debt... and no longer can screech for $funds...
IMO the best thing would be for the media to ignore her... and let nature (creditors) take its course.
 
And liberal driven controversy sells more than conservative driven controversy.

OTOH... there will come a point where she will make a fool of herself...

Reminds me of a guy I knew back in the 1990's...
He used to say: 'Here, take another foot of rope'
What he was saying: I will give you enough rope to hang yourself!
And it worked!
 
Here's what she said, "Because concession means to acknowledge an action is right, true or proper. As a woman of conscience and faith, I cannot concede that. But my assessment is the law currently allows no further viable remedy," she continued, before adding that although she could fight to keep the election going, she doesn't "want to hold public office if I need to scheme my way into the post."

She was in fact trying to scheme her way into the governor's office because she knew before the election she would not win, but it would be close. That's why before the election, she started the purging of voters registration controversy. It's also why she started the "every vote should be counted" even if the ballot was not legitimate; and it's also why she filed suit in federal court. She was in fact trying to scheme herself into the governor's office.

The Democratic Party pumped a lot of money and effort into her campaign believing she could actually win. The loss has caused them a great deal of embarrassment and are seemingly distancing themselves from her now. Abrams is promising another lawsuit in a pathetic attempt to save face.
 
She’s a shrewed person, she knows concession could negatively affect the outcome of the lawsuits. It’s a long shot at best and she knows it.
 
Of course just like texas Democratic candidate Beto O'Rourke, the dems will say she is ready to run for president if she could get this many votes in a red state. Both of them got lots of national coverage which increased their name recognition.

Soros will trot them out somewhere else... stay tuned. Or maybe I should say, be on guard.
