The long awaited Russia indictments are in

lotstodo

aka "The Jackal"
Russians trolled the internet. That is all. Thank you for your cooperation. We now return FBI resources to ignoring domestic threats to schools and selling guns to foreign drug dealers.

Seriously, no mention of administration officials or Trump family. No mention of any US citizens period. No evidence that the Russians favored one party over another, just that they trolled the internet stirring up poop to discredit Democrats and Republicans. No evidence that any American knew they were communicating with a Russian troll.

Now we don't know for certain that this is it for the investigation, but it would be odd to announce indictments of some before others with the exception of those who made deals.

It's still mind boggling to think there are people who don't believe foreign entities are involved in the politics of other countries.
:duh:

There is a lot more coming...
However it is not gonna be friendly to the left/DEM/progressive...

Hope it comes just when everyone's minds are on the mid term elections... grin!

It appears the Obama administration was aware of this interference as far back as 2014. It looks as if Romney was correct when during a 2012 presidential debate with Obama he said Russia was our country's biggest geo-p0litical threat. Obama's response to that was, "“You said Russia, not al Qaeda and the 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back because the Cold War's been over for 20 years." Is it possible the Russians were working to keep Obama president at that time?

Well he did have more"flexibility" that second term.

Hmmm...
It would appear the media and left are trying to pin election fraud on the Russians...

IMO the REAL election fraud is within the system, things like:
*electronic voting
*dead voters
*4 legged voters
*college kids voting both at home and on campus in another state
*folks driving in from different states to vote
*lack of picture ID voter cards-even Mexico has picture ID to vote
And probably a host more!

IMO this Russian stuff is a convenient diversion of attention from the polecats that continue to rip us off...
And IMO; just common sense that all countries large enough to have intelligence agencies also attempt to influence voting in other countries.

Here in our great state of Georgia, we need to demand the legislature set up picture voter ID cards and paper ballots.
And no, a drivers license is not good enough... a specific picture voter ID... with only legal citizens being allowed to get the card, no exceptions!
This is covered in the founding documents... and it worked until we let polecats tell us all the goofy reasons why we had to let folks with no common sense, vote.

Thoughts???

Agreed on ID cards but I disagree on paper ballots. It would be way too easy to throw away or misplace paper ballots and it would take forever to get election results.

Not to mention the "interpretation" factor. Remember the hanging chads?

I think electronic voting is here to stay, but we need to find a way to make them more secure.

We may be discussing semantics...

However to me: accountability (as in being able to accurately do a re-count) is what concerns me.
Perhaps secure = accountability???

IMO there is rampant voting fraud in most elections...
And IMO most professional polecats know it... yet use it (indirectly of course).

Somehow... that corruption needs to be stopped!

Silly people, just turn all election matters over to the FBI. Let them decide the winner. Easy Peezy.

"stuffing the ballot box" is a real thing. People are afraid of the technology used in voting machines, when in fact a hacker would have to hack individual machines. When they point out that "Well when they program the machine they could "hack" it, I point out that would be virtually impossible to pull of without getting caught, and most shenanigans occur when the votes are counted. That can concievably happen whether we vote electronically, on paper, or by casting stones into a bucket. If you look at where the most fraud occurs right now, it is in mailed absentee ballots.

This is not to say that older machines are not vulnerable, but again, each machine would have to be altered. It would also now be possible to trace votes back to the voter (randomly assigned ID number) at least up to the point that the vote is counted, making it possible to conduct an electronic sampling audit to insure that each vote is connected to a real person. I see no need to go back to hanging chads and partially filled circles. Those systems resulted in far more rejected votes than seem reasonable, and were still "hacked" by simply counterfeiting or stealing the ballots and stuffing the box.
